Prof. Dr. Teksen Çamlıbel is proud to have established Turkey's first private in vitro
fertilization center and
Istanbul's first in vitro fertilization center.
He is the doctor who opened Turkey's first tube parts to the world.
The In Vitro Fertilization Center,
established within the International Hospital in 1989,
was one of the first improvements in
ICSI technology as well as the first successes in
laparoscopic surgeries and cancer surgeries in Turkey.
Professor Doctor. After graduating from Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine
at the top of his class,
Teksen Çamlıbel specialized in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Johns Hopkins Hospital and
Medical College of Ohio in America.
After specialization, she completed her Gynecological Oncology (Women's Cancers)
specialization at
Albany Medical College of New York in New York.
After completing his master's degree at the same university,
he worked as a lecturer. Immediately after returning to Turkey:
In 1985, Marmara University Gynecology and Obstetrics department was established.
In 1989, Istanbul's first in vitro fertilization center was established at
International Hospital.
Jinemed opened its first center in Nişantaşı in 1989.
In 2000, Jinemed's surgical center, Private Kalamış Medical and In Vitro Fertilization Center,
was opened in Kalamış.
In 2005, he opened the general hospital FulyaJinemed Hospital
(now OtaJinemed) in Fulya, which provides services in a very different treatment branch
(from Heart Diseases to Brain Surgery, from Orthopedics to Neurology)
other than in vitro fertilization and women's health.
Besiktas’ two respected health institutions Ota Medical Center and Jinemed Hospital joined forces under the name
“OTA & Jinemed Hospital”
