Our department’s doctors diagnose and treat our patients using a detailed physical examination, laboratory tests, radiological examinations, and when necessary, procedures like endoscopic and cardiological examinations, employing the most current treatment methods. This department primarily provides preventive healthcare services, aiming to prevent diseases and carefully manage chronic illnesses, thereby reducing damage to internal organs caused by diseases.

Internal Medicine, while being a broad field with many sub-specialties, is the primary center for the non-surgical complaints of adult patients. An Internal Medicine Specialist refers patients requiring surgical treatment to the appropriate surgical specialties. Internal Medicine also manages pre- and post-operative cardiac, pulmonary (respiratory), kidney, and liver problems. The majority of patients who visit health facilities have problems that fall within the scope of internal medicine.
